How we protect you

A person reviews every campaign
No campaign can receive money until a reviewer has approved it. Organisers are screened against international sanctions and PEP lists before approval, and again whenever their payout details change.
Paid into a name-matched bank account
An organiser must verify a bank account that resolves to their own name before they can be paid. The account is checked with the bank, not taken on trust from a form.
The fee is on screen before you pay
3% plus ₦100 per donation, itemised at checkout, and you choose whether you or the campaign covers it. No second charge later, nothing deducted quietly.
You can report a campaign at any time
Anyone can flag a campaign from its page — no account needed. Reports go to the moderation queue, and a rising report count pauses payouts pending review.
What the verified badge means
When you see it on a campaign, the organiser has confirmed a government ID and a bank account that resolves to their own name, and a person on our team approved the campaign before it could receive money.
It does not mean we guarantee the outcome or how the funds are spent. An unverified organiser is shown as such, plainly — never hidden. Give for the cause and the evidence in front of you.
Giving safely
- Look for the identity-verified badge, and read what it does and doesn't confirm.
- Check the campaign's updates — active organisers post progress and spending.
- Prefer a smaller amount for a campaign you don't personally know.
- If something feels off, use “Report campaign” — it takes seconds and no account.
